Puppies from Mexico, puppies who are sick were sold to unsuspecting Americans. The outcome is often unpleasant.
26 sick and small puppies were found stuffed in burlap bags in the car of a smuggler — the latest commodity to be snuck across the U.S.-Mexico border.

In this country, puppies must be at least eight weeks old and in good health to be sold. These puppies are five weeks and sick. Unsupsecting families buy the dogs at baragain prices.

Rosie Tercero, bought smuggled dog: “Then about two weeks later, he began showing worse signs, neurological signs. I took him to the doctor and he said we’re gonna have to put him to sleep.”

Man charged with shooting two dogs

An Oregon man faces felony animal abuse charges after allegedly shooting two family dogs that attacked him during a domestic dispute.

Rickey C. Hynes, 40, was charged Thursday with two counts of mistreatment resulting in an animal’s death. If convicted he up to faces 3 years in prison on each count. He also faces three misdemeanor charges stemming from the domestic dispute.
