Puppy Fraud Sentencing
A woman who stole thousands of dollars by selling “phantom” puppies to online buyers across the country was sentenced Monday to a year in jail and ordered to abstain from alcohol and gambling.
Elizabeth Rivera Davis, 40, pleaded guilty Aug. 26 to a pair of grand theft counts.
